Summary/Abstract: This study presents the results of a survey from the summer of 2020 conducted among branches of Bulgarian companies in Romania on essential aspects of financial management of human resources and their importance for ensuring stable operation and sustainable development of economic units in the long run. The paper includes the following key points in the human resources management: the degree of impact of remuneration and staff evaluation; the selection and training of human resources; the factors and effects influencing the staff turnover and motivation; the conditions of human resources management in the COVID-19 environment. Promises and conclusions outline the main problems, good practices and specifics of the human resource financial management in an international business environment.
