Summary/Abstract: Thematic vocabulary studies, which examine the elements of vocabulary formed around a concept by centring a concept within the vocabulary studies, are important in terms of showing the ability of a language to derive from its own internal dynamics as well as showing the languages with which that language interacts and the results of this interaction. The basic vocabulary of Altai Turkish consists of Turkish words. In addition, depending on the fact that Altai Turks lived under Mongolian and then Russian rule for a long time, Mongolian and Russian words were included in the vocabulary of Altai Turkish. Thematic vocabulary studies on Altaic Turkish are important in terms of showing both the frequency of words of Turkish origin in Altaic Turkish and the depth and extent of Altaic Turkish-Mongolian, Altaic Turkish-Russian language relations. Among thematic vocabulary studies, vocabulary analyses formed around the concept of disease also have an important place. There is a large vocabulary related to the concept of patient and disease in the vocabulary of Altaic Turkish. In this study, the words formed around the concept of disease in Altaic Turkish are discussed. These words are classified under two main headings: physical diseases and mental health diseases; physical diseases are classified as nouns and verbs under seventeen subheadings; and analysed in terms of origin and structure.
