Summary/Abstract: The search for different materials, as a result of the fast and high quality production approach that has become a necessity in direct proportion to the developing technology, innovation movements in the field of art and design, and the fast consumption, has led to the need to experience all kinds of surfaces that can be an alternative to paper, the most used material in the known history of printing. Considering this inference, wood printing applications on alternative surfaces determined in this research, which was conducted to contribute to the field, were examined. Within the scope of the study, the designs made using the lion figure in the Kubat-abad palace tiles were applied on paper, fabric, leather, wood and ceramic surfaces with the woodcut technique. The suitability levels of the applications were compared by taking expert opinions. 8 criteria aiming to measure the suitability of the print quality on the materials were created by the researcher by taking the relevant literature review and the opinions of expert academicians.
