THE QUALITY OF HIGHER EDUCATION AND STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT

Summary/Abstract: Global social changes in the world represents a challange to survival and successful functioning of the increasing number of educational instutions, including universities. These, globally-oriented organizations have to constantly rise and maintain as high as possible level of qualtiy.In order to achieve this goal, principles and techniqus developed within the area of management science and practice, can be helpful. There is a wide range of methods available to an high eduacational organization to analyze its position in the continuosuly changing eneviornment. The aim of this paper is to point out the strategic management techniques that an university may use for analzyng its potentials as well as constrains, in order increase the qualitiy of services to various interest groups.
