Summary/Abstract: Continuing education is required as a necessity for future professional realization. The need is reflected in the education policy of Europe. Knowing the foreign experience in the implementation of continuing education is appropriate with a view to determining the place of the Bulgarian education system in the context of continuing education. Moreover, good European practices can be reflected in the Bulgarian policy of continuing education.
