Summary/Abstract: This study is the introduction of the work that gained fame under the name of Sherhu Ibn 'Akil, which he wrote on Ibn Malik's Elfiyye, which was annotated by Ibn 'Akil. Ibn 'Akil is a scholar who lived in the 14th century and took lessons in fiqh, tafsir, kalam, logic, and recitation. He has been a person who was consulted especially in the science of fiqh and nahw. Ibn 'Akil made great contributions to the field of syntax with his work called Sharhu Ibn 'Akil, and even today, this work is one of the references used in the teaching of the Arabic language. Since the syntax grammar is handled in a fluent style under sixty-six main headings starting from the introduction part of the work called Şerhû İbn Akil, anyone who wants to read the book will realize that the narration and style of the work is clear and understandable even in the first pages. The grammatical rules in the work have been explained with verses from the Qur'an, Hadith-i Sharifs and examples from Arabic poetry, making the subjects easy to understand.
