Summary/Abstract: The study presents results of the research conducted in the form of a single case experimental study, the respondents of which were pupils with dual exceptionalities - with intellectual giftedness and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in the younger school age in the conditions of school inclusion, involved in the research through purposive sampling. The aim of the research was to verify the effectiveness of a purposefully designed and applied intervention programme to increase the level of reading competence of the case, namely in the areas of reading method and technique,reading comprehension, reading speed and fluency. The case study is quantitative-qualitative in nature as it uses both quantitative and qualitative research methods. The results of the research are presented inthe case study report, based on which recommendations for special education and inclusion theory and practice are formulated.
