Summary/Abstract: She referring to the evolution of the Romanian genre, after the definitive overcoming of the threshold of censorship, Sanda Cordos tries to make a periodic classification of these new inclinations. According to his opinion, this generation is divided into two different stages of the novel's writing in post-communism. The first stage is the stage of the ’90, and the second stage, incomparably more successful, begins after 2001. As a result, generation 2000 groups new writers presenting a change of vision and perception toward their predecessors, such as: Adrain lame, Dan Lungu, T. O. Bobe and many others. They mark a key moment in the evolution of the writings, as with them a novel is developed whose purpose is to shock the public by using harsh, uncensored, direct language and by annihilating any previously existing front between the text and the external, concrete reality. As a result, this paper aims to analyze one of the most important novels of the period, the novel “How did I spend my summer vacation?” written by T. O. Bobe.
