Summary/Abstract: The paper discusses the Communicative Language Learning (CLIL) approach based on the integrated learning of a subject and a foreign language. In this case, the CLILiG method is concretised, in which the German language is both a goal and a tool in learning, as the specificities of language learning are combined with knowledge from other scientific fields. The characteristics of the method are briefly presented and possibilities for its use through projects in specialised foreign language education for tourism are suggested. The potential of CLIL-projects to increase students' self-confidence in their independent preparation of materials for guided practice is also explored.
