Summary/Abstract: The article reconstructs Zoran Đinđić’s views on the most influential political and ideological systems during his dissident period (1986–1989) and in the initial phase of his professional political engagement (1990–1993). Through a critical examination of the existing literature, his positions were examined with respect to: the doctrine of socialism in power, (neo)liberal worldviews, and the concepts of Serbian ethnic nationalism.
