Summary/Abstract: In this article the features of aesthetical integrity against the background of neuropsychiatric thinking at the end of the 19th century. The western non-classical thinking is shown as stimulating the upgrowth of psychologism in humanities as well as the development of psychopatalogy and art. Also there are exposed the causes of the increasing importance of neuropsychiatric phenomena and their reflections in the artistic practice.
