Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to present artificial intelligence tools that help overcome language barriers and enable English language learners to communicate effectively in English. The author of the article shows the results of a study by the international education company EF Education First regarding the level of English proficiency among adults from different countries. He then explains why so many people learning English have problems with speaking, discusses different language barriers, and the role of artificial intelligence in improving English speaking skills. The author analyzes the impact of chatbots on developing speaking skills in English and provides examples of tools which use artificial intelligence to improve speaking abilities, including pronunciation assessment.
