NE MAI LASĂ CRIZELE ACTUALE NEALTERAT DREPTUL LA EDUCAȚIE?
Do the Current Crises Leave our Right to Education Unchanged ?

Summary/Abstract: From the broad and generous sphere of human rights and freedoms, freedom of thought and expression, naturally accompanied by the right to education, are the fundamental pillars that open the perspective for human beings to evolve mentally and spiritually and provide them with the opportunity to lead a better life and, consequently, to build a better world. Free access to education, guaranteed and defended almost everywhere in our modern world, is also a sign of the normality of a society’s life, founded on values and freedoms, which knows how to invest in the training capital of future generations, which must learn to coexist peacefully. Similarly, where access to education is restricted or even eliminated by wars, pandemics, calamities, political, economic, and financial crises of all kinds, it is a sign that that society or human community is no longer functioning normally. This study focuses on two symptoms that increasingly affect the right to education today: the inner demobilization of individuals and digital captivity. All of these require a rethinking of the entire educational system based on the interaction between the teacher and the student and demand resources to ensure the freest exercise of this fundamental right to education, which derives from the right to life.
