Summary/Abstract: The article presents some empiric findings of the partial scientific research of the Police Academy of the Czech Republic in Prague 3/4 „System Risk Analysis Pertaining to Social Re-integration of Released Prisoners (Protective Rehabilitation, Protective In-patient Treatment)” – a contribution to the research project of the Police Academy of the Czech Republic in 2011–2015. The article focused on measuring value orientations of current youth by the use of Shalom Schwartz method. Detecting preferences of particular values in case of children appears to be very important from the point of view of control mechanism efficiency of social and pathological phenomena possibly occurring in this age category.
