Summary/Abstract: The first part of the article deals with a brief chronology of important information about the experiments how to introduce "integrity tests" in the Czech Republic, and the spread of their current forms – so called integrity tests of the General Inspectorate of Security Forces – focused on other people who have public functions. The aim of the other part is to present some empirical findings of the partial scientific and research task done at the Police Academy of the Czech Republic in Prague, "The Integrity Test - Interpretation, Application, Efficiency", on the list of professional groups that would refer to the integrity tests according to the opinions of the respondents – policemen.
