Summary/Abstract: The article presents some empirical findings of the partial scientific research of the Police Academy of the Czech Republic in Prague „The Integrity Test - Explication, Application, Effectiveness“, the aim of which is to find the attitude of the policemen to the control tool „sui generis“. As resulted from questionnaires answered by 766 police officers and also from non-standardized interview with 30 police officers, the policemen do not categorically take a positive or negative statement to integrity testing in most cases, but as a matter of fact there is some mixture of these attitudes the most of which are positive ones. In case of negative attitudes there are clearly visible aspects of distrust when the policemen view the integrity testing as some indication of a priori distrust.
