Summary/Abstract: SME’s have the possibility to utilize the financial sources from the national operational programmes for their development innovation activities. Within the frame of the research there were analysed thematic operational programmes and the programmes of the European territorial cooperation with the aim to determine the possibilities for SME’s innovation project implementation. The support areas are fragmented into different operational programmes, and, if they are interested, SME’s have to analyse every single subsidy source. The support areas are also usually strictly defined and the SME’s projects must be adapted to these restrictions. It is also a very limited fact for SME’s that every operational programme has its own managing documentation for the submisssion and implementation of projects, SME’s have to pass through different processes and procedures in the project administration, which puts big demands on financial and human sources.
