Summary/Abstract: The Czech Republic has the possibility to utilize financial sources on development projects in the frame of Operation programmes of European territorial cooperation. Within the research all 5 cross-border operational programmes were analyzed with the aim to determine possibilities for SME’s projects’implementation. Although all cross-border operational programmes include priority axes and support areas focused on entrepreneurial support, SME’s are excluded out of the implementation of projects and thus in the applicant role and also in the project partner role. The implementation of projects thematically focused on SME’s activities is entrusted to a gestion of public authorities and organizations concerned. This solution is not optimal enough and it is a question if we can consider this approach to be systematic. Thus SME’s can receive only undirect secondary support through eligible applicant projects which are run by public authorities and organizations concerned.
