Summary/Abstract: Pre-school childhood is a period of intensive development of the child's senses, when the child's orientation to the external properties and relationships of objects and phenomena, to space and time, improves. Sensory development in pre-school children consists of two interrelated aspects: the assimilation of ideas about the different properties and relationships of objects and phenomena, and the mastery of new perceptual behaviours that allow a more complete perception and decomposition of the world around us. There are several reasons why we might be interested in improving perception and representation in space in art-plastic activities, including: development of artistic skills, artistic communication, exploration of different perspectives and dimensions, development of cognitive skills, personal style and creativity, and multidisciplinary approach; art-plastic activities involve working with three-dimensional space and representing it in an artistic way; Artistic communication: perception and representation in space play a crucial role in conveying the artistic message. By improving these skills we will be able to communicate ideas and emotions more effectively through art; exploring different perspectives and dimensions: working with space in artistic activities allows us to explore different perspectives and dimensions; developing cognitive skills: artistic-plastic activities require a range of cognitive skills such as careful observation, spatial analysis and problem solving. By improving perception and representation in space, you will develop these essential cognitive skills, personal style and creativity; each artist has a unique style and artistic vision. Improving perception and representation in space will help us to develop our own style and explore new ways of artistic expression; multidisciplinary approach: improving perception and representation in space in artistic-plastic activities can have benefits in other fields as well. These skills can be useful in architecture, product design, animation or even science and technology.
