Description of Modern Condition of University Education in Ukraine and Ways of Its Reformation

Summary/Abstract: The problems of the development of Ukrainian higher education on the background of the social economic situation, taking place in the country, are considered. Supposed directions of further progress of the higher school legislative and the methodological basis (provision of an equal and fair access to the quality of education, development of the „Textbook“ program, creation of a new pattern of the university economic activity, coordination of the system of higher education with the requirements of Bologna Declaration, improvement of the competitiveness of Ukrainian science) are described.
