Summary/Abstract: The so-called Women’s Collection occupies a special place within the vast literary legacy of Yosif Bradati (Joseph the Bearded). Its content was intended for a secular, predominantly female audience. The codex contains valuable vocabulary describing popular superstitions and occult practices and mentions names for people who practised such activities and the role of women in them. An appendix containing a typeset fragment of this work and its translation into contemporary Bulgarian has been included in the article to make it accessible to a wider range of researchers.
