Responsible finance for financial inclusion

Summary/Abstract: The activities focused on fighting financial exclusion are referred as financial inclusion. Among them particular attention should be paid to the idea of responsible finance. According to the World Bank experts responsible finance manifests itself in coordinated operations undertaken within financial system by both private and public entities and aimed at influencing financial institutions and their clients in a way which results in establishing transparent, inclusive and fair financial market. Basic areas in which the activities targeted at responsible finance are conducted are as follows: consumer protection, responsible provider of financial services and establishing consumers’ financial capability.
