Summary/Abstract: The combined effort of industry, business, medical research, universities, non-govemmental non-profit organisations and mass media in performing field medical surveys is described. The stress has been put on the fact, that winning by combining the aims is the best way how to succeed. Six different examples are given and common features are ellucidated.
