Summary/Abstract: The history of launching of perindopril arginine and perindopril erbumine is given and amended with the short essay on clinical relevance of different thermodynamic properties of both substances. The importance of an innovative approach even to well-known and broadly used substances is stressed upon. The marketing and farmakovigilance linkages and final consumers’ / users’ opinions are mentioned.
