DIGITAL EDUCATION IN THE CONTEXT OF CONTEMPORARY GLOBAL CRISIS

Summary/Abstract: In these times of global crisis, a meaningful way of transmitting knowledge is very important, so the methods and means of the process should be evaluated and used correctly. As COVID-19 has led to schools closures and lockdowns, more than 1.5 billion students have transitioned to online education. This crisis accelerated the creation of a digital education system. In this article, the author tries to describe the characteristics of digital education, but without overlooking the obstacles and challenges that exist in the modern digital education process.
