Cooperation of employers with schools providing education in vocational education professions in Eastern Wielkopolska

Summary/Abstract: The article presents selected results of surveys conducted by the Łukasiewicz Research Network - Institute for Sustainable Technologies in Radom and the Center for Supporting Crafts, Dual and Vocational Education in Konin, concerning the cooperation of schools providing education in vocational education professions with employers in Eastern Wielkopolska. The research was carried out in 2022 on a group of 26 school directors providing education in vocational education professions and 56 employers from Eastern Greater Poland. The research was carried out as part of the project “Innovative vocational education and training in Eastern Wielkopolska in the context of energy transformation” (no.: EOG/21/K3/W/0046) financed from the EEA Financial Mechanism and the budget of the Republic of Poland under the Education Programme. Respondents answered, among others: for questions about the cooperation of schools with employers in the areas of practical vocational training, organization of practical classes on the basis of dual education, patronage classes and other forms of cooperation. The conducted research made it possible to obtain knowledge about real activities carried out jointly by schools and employers to improve the quality of vocational education for students of vocational schools in Eastern Wielkopolska.
