Summary/Abstract: The article presents selected results of survey research conducted by the ŁukasiewiczResearch Network – Institute for Sustainable Technologies in Radom, regarding potentialpossibilities of cooperation between institutes and research centers with the Industry SkillsCenter No. 2 in Radom operating in the field of industrial automation. The study was conductedin 2024 on a deliberately selected group of 10 institutes and research centers. The research wascarried out as part of the project “Creation and support for the functioning of an industry skillscenter for the electronics and mechatronics industry in the field of industrial automation (BCU-BEM)” (no. KPO/22/1/BCU/W/0063) financed by the National Reconstruction and ResilienceProgram, Component A “Resilience and competitiveness of the economy”, Intervention A3.1.1“Support for the development of modern vocational education, higher education and lifelonglearning”. Respondents answered, among others: to questions regarding cooperation betweeninstitutes and research centers with schools providing education in vocational educationprofessions and with the Industry Skills Center No. 2 in Radom.The conducted research made it possible, among other things, to obtain knowledge onidentifying potential partners for cooperation with BCU, the scope of cooperation and proposalsfor expanding the BCU training offer.
