Summary/Abstract: Vertical jump is a common measure in sports diagnostics, but also in assessing the level of health-related fitness in the general population. It is an indirect indicator of the muscular strength and power of the lower limbs. The vertical jump is a particularly important measure in sports, where it is used to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of a training process, determine neuromuscular strength output, and monitor neuromuscular fatigue. With the rise of new technologies, along with traditionally used, expensive and not easy-totransport instruments for measuring vertical jumps, a new mobile application appeared and made jump diagnostic simpler, cheaper and more practical for field measurements. The My Jump application is one of the most used and most validated applications for jump diagnostics in athletes and in the general population. This narrative review presents the application's capabilities and how to use it, as well as its accuracy and validity, through an overview of validation studies.
