Summary/Abstract: This article presents considerations on the diagnosis of the education system for security in the Police. Threats and challenges in the field of security and public order require the use of solutions originating from generally applicable and local law. They, in turn, are the basis for the introduction of organizational solutions that require systematic improvement. This improvement has its source in the search for answers to the questions: how is it? Why is that? These answers require knowledge of security, education, law and management. Based on this, it is possible to answer the question: how should it be? On the other hand, when answering this question, it is necessary to know about both the needs and the possibilities of meeting them, taking into account the limitations that can naturally appear in any organization, including the Police. This article is an attempt to answer diagnostic questions that may be the basis for introducing further education solutions in the Police.
