Family foster care coordinator in the role of tutor

Summary/Abstract: Monitoring the functioning of the foster family is entrusted to the foster care coordinator. The foster care coordinator, in addition to his statutory duties, often performs tasks similar in essence to tutoring. His meetings in the community bring to mind tutorials, while the coordinator himself becomes a tutor for his pupils. Qualitative methods were used to indicate the relationship between the issues of tutoring and the practice of the coordinator of family foster care: analysis of archives (analysis of sources: literature on the subject, documents prepared by coordinators of family foster care: “Report in the effects of the work of the coordinator of family foster care” - point: “Successes, achievements in work with foster family and adult foster care)” and non-standardized interview with foster families, minors placed in them, and adult wards.
