Summary/Abstract: The article is basically focused on some of the origins and causes of the Russian aggression against Ukraine that have taken place from 24th of February 2022. The Authors explain that the long lasting escalation of antagonisms and the clash between two civilizations: the Atlantic that includes Europe and USA and The Pacific one that consists of Russia, China and India is one of the results of this conflict. They have no doubt that this military conflict arised from the “slavic gene of destruction” and is based on nationalistic reasons. It is important to indicate that the Russian military activity is the evidence of the overuse of R2P doctrine. The Authors concentrate also their attention on the process of new human right arising – a right to safe critical infrastructure, which is not yet legally bounding. The war shows dependencies among european critical infrastructure systems and it provides to conclusion that safety of transeuropean networks need to be strengthen. The Authors also put some questions, e.g. when the war will end up and what kind of consequences can we expect when the military moves are finished. The former question doesn’t have clear answer, the latter seems to be clarified in the end of this writing.
