Summary/Abstract: The publishing landscape in the People’s Republic of Macedonia during the latter half of the 1950s reflected the prevailing conditions in the contemporary Macedonian state. Limited human resources, financial constraints, and governmentimposed controls shaped its development amidst challenging circumstances. This article investigates the challenges within the publishing sector and the proposed measures for their resolution.
