ESSENCE AND STAGES OF REENGINEERING IN THE BANKING SECTOR IN THE CONTEXT OF THE "KNOWLEDGE ECONOMY

Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the research is to observe the reengineering of selected business processes in the banking sector in Bulgaria. The following methods were used in the implementation of the present study, which are also included in the knowledge economy: the method of observation, analytical methods, intuitive methods, morphological methods, algorithmic methods, causal methods and others. The results presented in the paper are related to the scientific research project titled: “Entry of Bulgarian enterprises in the knowledge economy – contemporary aspects and challenges” with incoming number: NI-4-2022”.
