Summary/Abstract: It is important how each person and the society as a whole relates to old age and to elders. Regarding the former, the approach can be often reflexive, philosophical; for the latter it is appropriate to show practical, concrete aspects. Old age insinuates itself into you even before you have accepted it as such. It appears first physically, but then also mentally. In a way, for many, it is a threshold that appears from the moment one retires. But even for those with whom such a thing does not happen, at some point it becomes visible and is felt as a burden. Old age relates in a specific way to space and time. It is a space and above all it is a time. They become more emphatically spiritual, and in their sphere the possible experiences are countless and of incredible fascination.
