Summary/Abstract: Site 3 was discovered in Timiș County, near the towns of Covaci and Cernăteaz, due to the construction of the connecting road between DN69 and the A1 highway. Research in the field brought to light 8 Sarmatian inhumation graves. The orientation of the graves is in the S-N direction, less than three of them that have the orientation in the W–E direction. Several pieces of jewelry such as brooches, bracelets, rings, beads were identified as funerary inventory; household items – knife, ceramic dishes; farm tools – sickle and a single coin. The brooches are two in number, one of iron with a length of 5 cm, the spring measures 3.5 cm, the spring has dimensions in section of 1 x 0.5 cm, the section being oval. The head of the brooch is represented by a button with a diameter of 0.7 cm and a bronze brooch of type 32a2a1. Bracelets were identified in number of 4, two of them being decorated. Two rings were found in grave Cx 75/M5, one ring type and the other band type. The beads are monochrome, opaque globular glass, biconical, rectangular with 4 and 6 facets, they vary in color from white, blue, green, orange, cherry and black. In addition to the glass beads, some beads made of limestone have been identified. Among the household pieces, a knife blade and 4 dishes were identified, one being hand-moulded, the other 3 being wheel-moulded from gray paste. The only agricultural object is a sickle found in grave Cx 73/M4. Only one coin was identified in the site, a denar whose facets are heavily corroded.
