Summary/Abstract: After the introduction of iPad in 2010, it soon turned out that this device is perfect for providing information and library services as well as it can be a carrier of library content. The article presents the examples of using iPad tablets by librarians and readers. The author focuses on such issues as: interactive and multimedia presentation of the libraries' resources, creating documents by the users, and the possibilities of the retrieval of the data on particular libraries' resources and a direct access to them.
