Hungarians before the Spanish Inquisition in the 16th–18th Centuries: First Steps of a Research Project and Database Construction

Summary/Abstract: The paper is the first result of a relatively recent research project. More recent international research has highlighted the fact that the Inquisition in Spain has been confronted by a number of persons of Hungarian or Hungarian origin. In their paper, the authors, in addition to presenting the historiography of the research topic, mainly describe their own research methodology, the types of documents to be discovered, the research characteristics and the expected results.
