Summary/Abstract: Background: The focus of this article is on concepts that build an evolutionary understanding ofthe syllogism in logic and the philosophy of logic, as well as the concept of judgments in modernlogic as a basis for the study of the possibility of evolving legal syllogisms.Research purpose: The purpose of this article is to assess whether the evolution of the legalsyllogism is possible.Methods: The article analyzes and compiles the views of selected legal philosophers, logicians,and philosophers.Conclusions: Acceptance of selected views of modern logicians and philosophers on thepossibility of evolving syllogism leads to the conclusion that the evolution of legal syllogismsis possible. It can be initiated by reformulating its premises, which could be logical judgments.
