Summary/Abstract: The study is dedicated to the Legacy Collection of composers maintained by the Institute of Musicology of SASA. Due attention is paid to the history of its formation as well as to its unique contents which refers to the primary and very important archive sources related to the Serbian musical history. The text also provides a discourse which highlights issues concerning the strategies and perspectives of Serbian musicology. The Supplement gives a short description of each composer’s legacy.
