Summary/Abstract: The logicality of the most significant peculiarities of scientific style is shown in stylistic works. The emphasized consistency could be connected with the functional semantic category of the text, which has a distinctive system of connection means. The determination of the functioning of connection means in scientific style is based on quantitative and qualitative analysis of 35 scientific texts. Its base consists of the program of 22 linguistic signs. Inclinations of usage of logical-semantic and lexical connection means confirm the originality of expressiveness of scientific style texts, which depends on the secondary non-speech factors and especially scientific cognitive components. These linguistic signs help to reveal the inner differentiation of scientific style, which depends on variants and branch of science. Explicit connection means, used at the beginning of the sentence, stress the manifold connection of the sentences and their stereotyping.
