Summary/Abstract: This article presents the effectiveness of seven discriminant models in assessing the risk of corporate bankruptcy in the motorization sector during the COVID-19 pandemic. The study uses the following methods: discriminant analysis, descriptive analysis, and comparative analysis. This study indicates that in the research sample, the number of enterprises at risk of bankruptcy and in the so-called "gray zone", according to the model, has increased significantly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Only two models did not present a risk of bankruptcy for the surveyed companies during the analyzed period.
