MANAK’S HOUSE UNDER THE AUSPICES OF THE ETHNOGRAPHIC MUSEUM

Summary/Abstract: The position of Manak’s house as a separate unit of the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade has been offering many advantages as well as challenges. During the 53rd year of conservation of the Ethnographic Memorial Collection by Hristifor Crnilović, the approaches to presenting the heritage and designing the programs also changed many times. This is reflected in a large number of exhibitions organized by experts from the Ethnographic Museum in Belgrade and other museums in Serbia, international and regional cooperation, programs of workshops in traditional crafts, schools of tradition and important events in which we have been participating.
