Summary/Abstract: In today's dynamic response to serious and organized crime, it is increasingly necessary for law enforcement agencies to use methods with the participation of an undercover officer. This determines the topicality of the topic, as a thorough analysis of the psychological problems of the undercover's activity should be carried out. Undercover is a person with stable attention, developed memory and practical thinking. He is erudite, with good communication skills, quickly and effectively reduces his behavior according to the behavior and intentions of other people. He successfully uses his knowledge, skills and habits in his activities to achieve his goals and survive in the complex environment during an undercover operation.Acting police officers are insufficiently informed about the personal and behavioral characteristics of the SP in the conditions of conducting an undercover operation, which makes it difficult to work in sync with them as applicants for this special intelligence resource.
