Ecoagritourism as a form of recreation selection determinants

Summary/Abstract: Ecoagritourism fosters environment protection and it is becoming an increasingly popular form of recreation. Ecoagritourism uses local cultural and natural values, family labour force and organic food with full respect for nature. Tourists on an ecoagritourism farm can stay in a clean environment and eat meals prepared with organic ingredients produced there. Tourists and ecoagritourism farms contribute hereby to the environment protection through both favorable agriculture and ecological form of tourism. In their market activities, ecoagritourism farms should identify and include factors determining the tourists’ choice of ecoagritourism as a form of recreation. Therefore the purpose of this article is to identify the factors determining the tourists’ choice of ecoagritourism as a form of recreation, based on own research.
