Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this study is to discuss issues related to housing credits. This credit plays the most significant role in the portfolio of bank credits for households. At the same time, it is the most popular credit among customers who are natural persons.The basic issues related to housing credit were discussed at the beginning of the article. The rese- arch and inquiries were carried out on the basis of studies of the literature on the subject and reports of the institutions of the Polish financial market.
