Summary/Abstract: Due to the contemporary shift of social life to the Internet, netnography is becoming more and more popular in pedagogical research. Its use requires in-depth cognitive activities and building own research procedure. The research carried out aimed at determining the areas and forms of support provided to Ukrainian citizens coming to Poland because of the ongoing war in their country. As data the authors used website entries from all (16) Boards of Education in Poland, submitted in the period from the outbreak of the war (February 2022) to August 2023. The research explores both the organization of various forms of assistance and the changing nature of this support. Together with the research findings, the authors present their own reflection on the research procedure adopted in the described studies, describe the development of their own research literacy and cre- ation of a community of researchers. Moreover, the authors enriched the netnographic methodol- ogy with an element of observation.
