Summary/Abstract: Literary works connect the realms of reality and fiction. They serve as a means of sharing life stories and manifesting one's envisioned life. Narrative fiction is not only a record of today's and yesterday's experiences but also the legacy of tomorrow. The development of narrative fiction as a whole occurs in tandem with the gradual evolution of life and the postmodern context. The article expands upon the new textual landmarks that can be identified with reference to authors, narrators, characters, and readers. The authors, readers and characters acquire transcendental facets, while narrators focus on both the physical and psychological aspects of perception.
