Summary/Abstract: The site «Manastirsko» in the village of Dići is characterized by the exceptional continuityof the sacral place. The first findings date from the Bronze Age - a prehistoric tumulus, which isfollowed by the foundations of the church from the late 13th century with a corpus of horizontallyplaced monuments decorated with unusual symbols in relief, and then tombstones from the 19thcentury associated with modern burial features from the 20th and the 21st century. The paper follows the conservation and restoration of both ‘stećak’ tombstones and one object from the group ofceramic artifacts from the period of 16th to 18th century. The causes of the devastation of these twotypes of findings are listed and analyzed, and the specific conservation and restoration treatment ofstone and ceramic objects from this site is described as well. The conservation of this cemetery hascreated an overview unit ready for further archaeological, ethnological and historical research. Themedieval cemetery in the village of Dići is the largest and most complex necropolis on the territoryof Serbia, and has an exceptional historical significance, which is why it is necessary to preserve it,investigate it in more detail and adequately present it.
