Summary/Abstract: This article contains two following papers: 1. The international scientific congress "Glagoljaštvo – baština, tradicija, inovacija" held in Krk, Croatia, which covered the entire history of Glagolitic writing and culture from the Cyrillo-Methodian period to the present. The congress featured 65 presentations by researchers from 13 countries, focusing on various aspects of Glagolitic script and culture. The document discusses the 1160-year history of the Glagolitic culture, primarily associated with the arrival of Cyril and Methodius in Great Moravia and the existence of Old Slavonic legends about St. Wenceslas. The document mentions the relocation of the Old Slavonic Academy from Krk to Zagreb and its transformation into the Old Slavonic Institute. 2. Gergely Benedek’s extensive research on the Ruthenian dialect of Komlóska, highlights unique phonetic characteristics and the influence of Hungarian language. It details the methodology of field research conducted over two decades, the development of a specific language state in Komlóska, and includes a dictionary section with Hungarian headwords followed by their Ruthenian equivalents. The work also encompasses sociolinguistic aspects, the role of mother tongue in various domains, and is complemented by an appendix reviewing Ruthenian dialects in Hungary.
