SHËRBIMI ARKIVOR NË VENDET E BALLKANIT PERËNDIMOR
ARCHIVAL SERCIVE IN THE COUNTRIES OF THE WEST BALKANS

Summary/Abstract: The topic that will be presented at the conference will be a comparative look at how the central archives in the Western Balkans work within the archival service and the approach they have to the researcher. With this topic we will try to present the forms and the way that these archives use for access to the researcher and the way of serving archival materials, the level of information tools they offer to researchers for an easier archival search, the service of documents in digital form, the costs of documents or the use of these archives, the procedure for how a researcher has access to the study rooms of these archives, do they serve documents in online format and other questions like these related to the service facilities for the researchers . This paper will be based on the data that the archives of the region have regarding the archival service mainly on their official website, through communication with representatives of these archives or indirect data from researchers who have used the study rooms of the archives of the region. Using these data we aim to highlight the level of service these archives have to researchers using comparative methods.
